What is a 501(c)(3)?
A 501(c)(3) is a federally recognized nonprofit organization that operates exclusively for charitable, educational, or cultural purposes. Donations made to a 501(c)(3) are tax-deductible, which means your contribution not only supports tribal citizens and communities but may also provide you with tax benefits. The Foundation’s nonprofit status ensures transparency, accountability, and the ability to expand opportunities for tribal citizens through philanthropy.
How are donations used?
Every dollar we receive goes toward strengthening Tlingit & Haida’s programs and initiatives. From providing resources for youth and families, to advancing language and cultural programs, to helping build our future Education Campus, your contribution helps create opportunities today and for generations to come.
