Charlene Robertson was appointed Chief Financial Officer following a competitive search process. As CFO, she provides leadership and oversight of Tlingit & Haida’s Finance team, including fiscal management, budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and indirect cost proposals.

Robertson brings more than 20 years of accounting and management experience, having previously served as Controller for Bristol Bay Alaska Tourism and in leadership roles with Sitnasuak Native Corporation, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and the University of Alaska Anchorage. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Music from Boise State University.

Charlene is Tlingit, Yeíl (Raven), L’uknax.ádi clan, Daginaa Hít. She was born in Juneau and raised in Sitka. Her Tlingit name is Gunaa Shaa.
