Tellisha Frankhouser, Engagement Specialist

Tellisha Frankhouser is Tlingit from the Kaagwaantaan clan, and her family is from Wrangell. She has worked for Tlingit & Haida for the past three years, beginning as a Rescue Relief Technician, where she worked closely with tribal citizens to help them secure federal funds and access vital support. In 2024, she transitioned into procurement, where she supported the Tribe by helping departments make strategic purchases, strengthen processes, and save money.
Before joining Tlingit & Haida, Tellisha worked as an operations manager for a nonprofit focused on food security in Ketchikan and also worked in event staffing for the city. Her professional background reflects a strong commitment to service, community, and relationship-building. She also has a background in health science and completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2025.
In her role as Engagement Specialist, Tellisha looks forward to building meaningful relationships with donors and supporting philanthropy efforts that help advance the Tribe’s mission and long-term goals. Working for her Tribe and her people is deeply meaningful to her, and she values the opportunity to contribute to work that strengthens and supports the community.
