Why Update Your Tribal ID?
Your Tribal ID is your primary identification card and can be used for:
- Tribal services and benefits
- Proof of Tribal citizenship
- General identification purposes
- Domestic commercial air travel (accepted by TSA at airport security)
What to Bring (Tribal ID & Enrollment Applicants)
Applicants should bring one or more of the following documents:
- Current Tribal ID (if available)
- State-issued ID or Driver’s License
- Social Security card
- Birth certificate (required for Enrollment)
Minors (Tribal ID & Enrollment)
Parents or legal guardians applying on behalf of minors must bring:
- The child’s birth certificate, and
- Any legal documentation (if applicable), such as guardianship or custody paperwork
