Join us for a two-day training focused on strengthening tribal justice responses to community and domestic violence through practical instruction, collaborative exercises, and discussion of tribal protection order processes and enforcement.
Participants will explore sovereignty, customary and written laws, due process considerations, protection order drafting, court procedures, and tribal/state enforcement practices. Interactive group exercises and mock hearings will provide hands-on learning opportunities for participants involved in tribal justice systems and victim protection efforts.
