The Alaska Sea Grant and Tlingit & Haida are partnering to hold a introductory mariculture workshop. Participants will receive an overview of mariculture in the state through tours of local shellfish and seaweed hatchery and processing facilities, conversations with local and Indigenous farmers, hands-on farm gear activities, and tastings of locally grown products.

Funding is available for travel and lodging available upon request. Register to attend the workshop by January 10, 2026.
