The Office of the President is responsible for ensuring policies adopted by the Tribal Assembly are carried out. The Executive Council is charged with enhancing governance and providing oversight of program and business activities of the Tribe.

The Tribal Assembly is composed of delegates from the 21 communities of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes. Tribal Assembly resolutions are one of the policy mechanisms that express the Tribe’s positions on matters that affect our people.

The Judiciary Committee and Tribal Court System was created to foster and protect the Tribe’s inherent and sovereign rights to resolve issues and disputes of and among tribal citizens, for families and children.
