The General Election of Delegates and Community Council members to Tlingit & Haida will be held on March 19, 2026.

Elected Delegates serve a two-year term and represent their communities at the annual Tribal Assembly.

Official community voting lists for all 22 recognized Tlingit & Haida communities have been published to the Elections page. Please make sure to check your community’s voting list. If your name is not listed, you will need to update your contact information and registered community.

Note: For tribal citizens who live more than 100 miles outside of a recognized Tlingit & Haida community, you may choose which community you wish to register to.

To vote, you must:

• 18 or older by March 19, 2026
• Be an enrolled citizen of Tlingit & Haida as of March 19, 2026
• Be listed on your community’s Official Voting List

For tribal citizens who are interested in serving as a Delegate or Community Council member, the nomination period will open on January 23 at which time a Declaration of Intent to Serve form will be made available.
