The Work Experience Program is a paid on-the-job training initiative administered by the Employment & Training Department. It assists eligible participants in developing essential work skills through placements within our tribal departments and external partners. The program also provides comprehensive educational support and employment services to enhance job skills and assist participants in securing and maintaining permanent, unsubsidized employment.
Through the program, eligible participants can access a wide range of resources, including career assessment testing, motivational training, and workshops. Our workshops cover critical topics such as résumé writing, cover letter development, job application completion, online job searching, and interview techniques. Upon completion, each participant will possess an employment portfolio to support their job search efforts.
