Alumni Scholarship Assistance Program (ASAP)

ASAP provides annual scholarship awards (one per academic year) to tribal citizens residing in the United States, regardless of community affiliation. Award amounts are based on annual fundraising activities such as memorial donations, private donations, vendor/associate solicitations, and fundraisers.

The ASAP application period runs from July 1 to September 15. Applications received after September 15 will not be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be enrolled with Tlingit & Haida.
  • Must be a full-time student seeking an associate degree or higher.
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
  • Must reside in the United States.

Required Documentation

Students are required to provide:

  • Tlingit & Haida tribal enrollment number.
  • Current class schedule.
  • Unofficial copy of transcripts.

All supporting documents must have the name of the school and student. School ID numbers are not accepted. Applications are processed in the order they are received.
